Misys plc, the global application software and services company, has appointed Deok Sung Lee as Country Manager for Misys Korea.

 Mr Lee will lead the Korean team to support local customers and develop partners in the country and implement sales and marketing plans for Misys.

  Mr Lee brings with him a strong market knowledge and proven track record in sales in several global IT organisations, including SAP Korea, IBM and PTC Korea.

 Of the appointment, Deok Sung Lee said: “I join Misys at an exciting time for the Korean market. Banks are looking to innovate and evolve their banking systems to maintain their competitive edge and increase their prominence in the banking world. Misys’ track record is extremely strong in Asia and we will be focused on building this further to become the solution provider of choice to financial institutions in Korea.
