Terry Williams appointed chairman of Calastone
Terry Williams has been appointed chairman by cross-border transaction network Calastone.
Williams has been in the financial services industry for more than three decades, founding computer services firm Wilco in the early 1970s, and continuing as chairman and CEO of ADP Wilco after the firm was purchased by ADP.
For most of the last decade, Williams headed up Coexis, helping it become one of the fastest growing private technology firms in the UK.
Kevin Lee, co-founder and managing director of Calastone, commented: “We are delighted to announce that Terry has agreed to join Calastone. His track record in delivering innovation to the financial services industry on a global scale is second to none. Since launch in 2008, Calastone has enjoyed considerable growth best witnessed by the rate at which the mutual fund industry continues to connect to take advantage of the benefits of automation and STP.”
